So, here I am. The day I thought would never come. Me? With a blog? (Pause for all who know me to gasp in horror). Kicking and screaming, I have finally entered the digital age.
I guess the purpose of this blog is to give me an excuse to go on and on about food, without driving all around me straight off the deep end. I LOVE FOOD! Anything to do with food. Anything to do with cooking. I haven't, until recently, been a fan of computers, so bear with me as I figure this blog thingy out.
If you stick with this blog, I hope to blow your mind with cool food facts, suggestions on great books about food and cooking, recipes, and, occasionally, photos and stories about my crazy food adventures and great things I've eaten.
A little about me: I'm 28 (well, I will be tomorrow) and I have spent much of my life working in restaurants and around food. I also have worked in film and televison; most recently on Primal Grill with Steven Raichlen (season three airs Spring 2010). I am currently an anthropology major (with a focus on, you guessed it, food) at the University of Arizona. I love music and eating with friends. I'm married to a wonderful man and, together, we have many food adventures.
